Narrator (Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa, by Mahātmya narrative convention)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Architects pause construction, honoring the fixed liṅga; around it they plan a prāsāda that avoids disturbance, while a broad hall is built to one side for Vāsudeva’s worship.
Sacred building must honor divine presence: a liṅga is not to be casually moved, and worship-spaces should be made suitable and expansive for proper devotion.
The Nāgarakhaṇḍa Tīrthamāhātmya locale where a liṅga is established and Vāsudeva is also honored; the single verse does not name the tīrtha explicitly.
A clear dhārmic constraint is implied: do not disturb/move the liṅga; additionally, provide an appropriate śālā for Vāsudeva’s worship.
