सावित्र्युवाच । यस्मात्त्वया परित्यक्ता निर्दोषाहं पितामह । पितामहोऽसि मे नूनमद्यप्रभृति संगमे
sāvitryuvāca | yasmāttvayā parityaktā nirdoṣāhaṃ pitāmaha | pitāmaho'si me nūnamadyaprabhṛti saṃgame
สาวิตรีกล่าวว่า: “ข้าไร้มลทินแต่ท่านกลับทอดทิ้ง ข้าแต่ปิตามหะ; เพราะฉะนั้นตั้งแต่วันนี้เป็นต้นไป ในเรื่องการร่วมสังวาส ท่านจักเป็นแก่ข้าเพียง ‘ปิตามหะ’ เท่านั้นจริงๆ”
