सुप्ते देवे वृक्षमध्यमास्थाय भगवान्प्रभुः । जलं पृथ्वीगतं सर्वं प्रपिबन्निव सेवते

เมื่อเทวะ (วิษณุ) ทรงบรรทมในโยคนิทรา พระผู้เป็นเจ้าอันประเสริฐสถิตอยู่กลางต้นไม้ ราวกับทรงดื่มซับสรรพน้ำนานาที่ซึมลงสู่แผ่นดิน และด้วยประการนั้นทรง ‘ปรนนิบัติ’ (ค้ำจุน) โลกไว้
