यथा न भवति श्राद्धं तस्मिन्नहनि भूतले । यत्प्रभावाद्वयं सर्वे मानुषैः श्राद्धमाश्रितैः । न यामोऽभिभवस्थानं तस्माच्छप्स्यामहे च तान्
yathā na bhavati śrāddhaṃ tasminnahani bhūtale | yatprabhāvādvayaṃ sarve mānuṣaiḥ śrāddhamāśritaiḥ | na yāmo'bhibhavasthānaṃ tasmācchapsyāmahe ca tān
“เพื่อว่าในวันนั้นบนแผ่นดินจะมิให้มีการประกอบศราทธะ (Śrāddha); เพราะด้วยอานุภาพของมนุษย์ผู้พึ่งศราทธะ พวกเราทั้งปวงย่อมไม่อาจครอบงำได้; ฉะนั้นเราจักสาปเขาทั้งหลาย”
