सांबोऽपि प्रलपन्नार्तो निद्रां लेभे न वै द्विजाः । रात्रिशेषमभूत्तस्य तदा वर्षशतोपमम्
sāṃbo'pi pralapannārto nidrāṃ lebhe na vai dvijāḥ | rātriśeṣamabhūttasya tadā varṣaśatopamam
โอ้ทวิชะทั้งหลาย แม้สามพะก็คร่ำครวญด้วยความทุกข์ ไม่อาจได้หลับเลย; และส่วนที่เหลือของราตรีนั้น สำหรับเขาแล้วประหนึ่งยาวนานดุจร้อยปี
