पर्वतानां यथा मेरुर्द्विपदानां द्विजोत्तमः । स्थानजानां तु विप्राणां श्रेष्ठोऽष्टकुलिकस्तथा

parvatānāṃ yathā merurdvipadānāṃ dvijottamaḥ | sthānajānāṃ tu viprāṇāṃ śreṣṭho'ṣṭakulikastathā

ดุจเขาพระเมรุเป็นยอดในหมู่ภูผา และในหมู่ผู้มีสองเท้า ทวิโชตตมะคือผู้ประเสริฐแห่งทวิชะเป็นเลิศ ฉันนั้น ในหมู่วิปฺระผู้เป็นชาวถิ่นแห่งสถานนั้น อัษฏกุลิกะก็เป็นผู้ประเสริฐฉันเดียวกัน
