नदीनां च यथा गंगा सतीनां चाप्यरुंधती । तद्वत्स्थानजविप्राणां श्रेष्ठोऽष्टकुलिकः स्मृतः

nadīnāṃ ca yathā gaṃgā satīnāṃ cāpyaruṃdhatī | tadvatsthānajaviprāṇāṃ śreṣṭho'ṣṭakulikaḥ smṛtaḥ

ดุจคงคาเป็นเลิศในหมู่สายน้ำ และอรุณธตีเป็นยอดแห่งสตรีผู้ครองพรหมจรรย์และซื่อสัตย์ ฉันนั้น ในหมู่พราหมณ์ผู้เกิด ณ สถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์นั้น อัษฏกุลิกะย่อมถูกจดจำว่าเป็นผู้ศฺเรษฐะ คือผู้ประเสริฐยิ่ง
