ब्रह्मा तेषां शतं यावत्स जीवति पितामहः । सांप्रतं चाष्टवर्षीयः षण्मासश्चैव संस्थितः

brahmā teṣāṃ śataṃ yāvatsa jīvati pitāmahaḥ | sāṃprataṃ cāṣṭavarṣīyaḥ ṣaṇmāsaścaiva saṃsthitaḥ

ตามมาตรานั้น พระพรหมผู้เป็นปิตามหะทรงดำรงพระชนม์อยู่ถึงหนึ่งร้อย (มาตราเช่นนั้น) และในกาลปัจจุบัน พระองค์ทรงตั้งอยู่โดยครบแปดปีและหกเดือน (ตามการนับทิพย์นั้น)
