एकेनापि विहीना ये प्रभवंति कुबुद्धयः । लोभमोहान्विताः पापा जायंते ते विचेतसः
ekenāpi vihīnā ye prabhavaṃti kubuddhayaḥ | lobhamohānvitāḥ pāpā jāyaṃte te vicetasaḥ
แต่ผู้มีปัญญาทราม ซึ่งแม้ขาดคุณธรรมเหล่านี้เพียงข้อเดียวก็ยังแสวงความรุ่งเรือง ย่อมเป็นคนบาป ประกอบด้วยโลภะและโมหะ และเกิดมาไร้ความรู้เท่าทันอันชอบ
