चित्रांगद उवाच । व्याधिनाऽहं सुनिर्विण्णस्तेन देवात्र चागतः । येन व्याधिक्षयो भावी देहनाशेन शंकर
citrāṃgada uvāca | vyādhinā'haṃ sunirviṇṇastena devātra cāgataḥ | yena vyādhikṣayo bhāvī dehanāśena śaṃkara
จิตรางคทะกล่าวว่า: “ข้าพเจ้าถูกโรคาพาธเบียดเบียนจนเหนื่อยอ่อนและสิ้นหวัง จึงมาหาท่าน ณ ที่นี้ โอ้พระผู้เป็นเจ้า โอ้ศังกระ ด้วยวิธีใดโรคนี้จึงจะสิ้นไป—แม้ต้องแลกด้วยความพินาศแห่งกายนี้ก็ตาม?”
