bhaṭṭikovāca | ānartādhipatereṣā bhavitrī duhitā śubhā | tataḥ pāṇigrahaṃ prāpya bhāryā tava bhaviṣyati
Bhaṭṭikā
Tirtha: Ānarta-deśa (regional kṣetra frame)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Takṣaka
Scene: Bhaṭṭikā prophesies: the woman will be born as the auspicious daughter of the Ānarta king; after the hand-taking rite, she becomes Takṣaka’s wife.
Karmic disruption is resolved through dharmic institutions—rebirth and lawful marriage—under the guidance of higher insight.
The episode belongs to the Kedāra tīrtha-māhātmya stream within the Nāgarakhaṇḍa.
Pāṇigraha (the formal hand-taking in marriage) is referenced as the dharmic means by which the union is re-established.
