मा च चाटु भटे देहि मैव देहि पुरोहिते । मा च काणे विरूपे च न्यूनाङ्गे न च देवले
mā ca cāṭu bhaṭe dehi maiva dehi purohite | mā ca kāṇe virūpe ca nyūnāṅge na ca devale
เมื่อถวายทาน อย่ามอบแก่ผู้ประจบสอพลอหรือผู้รับจ้างกินค่าแรง; อย่ามอบแก่ปุโรหิตที่เป็นเพียงผู้ประกอบพิธีเท่านั้น. อย่ามอบแก่ผู้ตาข้างเดียว ผู้พิการรูป ผู้ขาดอวัยวะ และผู้เป็น ‘เทวละ’ รับใช้เทวสถานเพื่อเลี้ยงชีพ.
