sarveṣāmeva dānānāṃ brahmadānaṃ viśiṣyate | yena yena hi bhāvena yadyaddānaṃ prayacchati

ในบรรดาทานทั้งปวง พรหมทาน คือทานแห่งญาณอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เป็นยอดยิ่งที่สุด บุคคลถวายทานสิ่งใด และด้วยเจตนาและภักดีเช่นใด—
