ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | dhanvantaraśataṃ gaccha bhṛgutuṅgasya mūrdhani | kuṇḍaṃ drakṣyasi tatpūrṇaṃ vistīrṇaṃ payasā śivam
Ṛṣis (sages)
Tirtha: Bhṛgutunga-kunda (implied)
Type: kund
Scene: Sages pointing out a distant mountain peak (Bhṛgutunga) and describing a broad, water-filled kunda at its crown; the landscape opens to a luminous summit pond.
Sacred geography is revealed through the sages: the right place, approached properly, becomes the doorway to auspiciousness and attainment.
A kuṇḍa (sacred pond) located on the summit of Bhṛgutunga, within the Revā-kṣetra tradition.
A pilgrimage instruction is given: travel to Bhṛgutunga’s summit to reach and behold the kuṇḍa (implying snāna/darśana as customary tīrtha practice).
