तृतीयं तु सहस्रं स धूमपानरतोऽभवत् । चतुर्थं वर्षसाहस्रं योगाभ्यासेन संस्थितः

tṛtīyaṃ tu sahasraṃ sa dhūmapānarato'bhavat | caturthaṃ varṣasāhasraṃ yogābhyāsena saṃsthitaḥ

ครั้นถึงพันปีที่สาม เขาหมกมุ่นในพรต “ดื่มควัน” อย่างแน่วแน่ ครั้นถึงพันปีที่สี่ เขาตั้งมั่นอยู่ในวินัยแห่งการฝึกโยคะไม่หวั่นไหว
