Transliteration

tacchrutvā brāhmaṇī vākyaṃ bhītabhītāvadannṛpa | tadvastraṃ tu mayā vipra snātvā hyantaḥ kṛtaṃ mahat

Translation

ครั้นได้ฟังถ้อยคำนั้น พราหมณีสั่นระริกด้วยความหวาดกลัว จึงกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ข้าแต่พราหมณ์ผู้ควรบูชา ผ้านั้นถูกมือข้าพเจ้าแล้ว; หลังอาบน้ำ ข้าพเจ้าได้นำไปเก็บไว้ภายในเรือนชั้นใน—เป็นความผิดใหญ่หลวงยิ่ง”
