तेनोक्ताः स्वसुतां चेत्तु राजा मे दातुमिच्छति । ततोऽस्य भूयोऽपि गृहे ज्वलेऽहं नान्यथा द्विजाः
tenoktāḥ svasutāṃ cettu rājā me dātumicchati | tato'sya bhūyo'pi gṛhe jvale'haṃ nānyathā dvijāḥ
เขากล่าวแก่พวกเขาว่า: ‘หากพระราชาปรารถนาจะประทานพระธิดาของพระองค์แก่ข้าจริง ข้าจักลุกโชติช่วงอีกครั้งในพระนิเวศของพระองค์; หากมิใช่ ก็หาไม่ โอ้พราหมณ์ทั้งหลาย’
