śrīkaṇṭhaḥ sagaṇaḥ sarvabhūtasaṅghairniṣevitaḥ | asmādgirivarādbhūpa vakṣye tīrthasya vistaram

ศรีกัณฐะ (ศิวะ) พร้อมด้วยคณะคณา ได้รับการปรนนิบัติจากหมู่สรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง โอ้พระราชา จากภูเขาอันประเสริฐนี้ เราจักกล่าวอธิบายความกว้างไกลแห่งตีรถะโดยพิสดาร
