เพราะเหตุนั้น เทวีผู้มีเนตรดุจดอกบัวนี้จึงเป็นที่รู้จักนามว่า “สตี” ข้าแต่เทวेशวร เหตุเพราะเมื่อเขากำลังกระทำยัญญะ เกียรติยศของพระองค์ถูกดูหมิ่นและถูกทำลาย
