ครั้งนั้นเทวราชศักระ (อินทรา) ร้อนรุ่มด้วยตบะของทั้งสอง จึงให้เหล่าอัปสราไปประจำ ณ ที่นั้น ด้วยประสงค์จะก่ออุปสรรคแก่การบำเพ็ญตบะของเขา
