तस्मिन्दिने तत्र गत्वा यस्तु श्राद्धप्रदो भवेत् । पितॄणामक्षया तृप्तिर्जायते शतवार्षिकी
tasmindine tatra gatvā yastu śrāddhaprado bhavet | pitṝṇāmakṣayā tṛptirjāyate śatavārṣikī
ผู้ใดไปยังที่นั้นในวันนั้นเองแล้วถวายศราทธะ (śrāddha) ความอิ่มเอิบอันไม่เสื่อมสูญย่อมบังเกิดแก่ปิตฤทั้งหลาย ดำรงอยู่ตลอดร้อยปี
