त्वं न इन्द्र राया परीणसा याहि पथाँ अनेहसा पुरो याह्यरक्षसा । सचस्व नः पराक आ सचस्वास्तमीक आ । पाहि नो दूरादारादभिष्टिभिः सदा पाह्यभिष्टिभिः ॥
tváṁ na indra rāyā́ párīṇasā yā́hi pathā́m anēhasā puró yāhy arakṣásā | sácasva naḥ parāká ā́ sácasv āstamīká ā́ | pā́hi no dūrā́d ārā́d abhiṣṭíbhíḥ sádā pāhi abhiṣṭíbhíḥ ||
โอ้อินทรา ขอพระองค์เสด็จนำหน้าเราด้วยความบริบูรณ์แห่งทรัพย์และพลังแห่งภาวะ เสด็จไปตามหนทางไร้ทุกข์ เสด็จนำหน้าด้วยการพิทักษ์ที่ไม่ยอมให้มีอันตราย จงอยู่กับเราจากที่ไกล และอยู่กับเราจากที่ใกล้ ขอทรงปกป้องเราจากทั้งไกลและใกล้ด้วยความช่วยเหลืออันมั่นคง (abhiṣṭi) —ทรงปกป้องด้วยความช่วยเหลือนั้นเสมอ
