Narada (continuing the anukramanika-style summary discourse, traditionally framed in dialogue with Sanatkumara and the Kumara sages)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It functions as a phala-śruti-like statement: the Brahma Purāṇa is praised as a two-part scripture whose study/hearing is said to remove sin (pāpa-kṣaya) and generate auspicious well-being (saukhyāpti).
Indirectly: by glorifying Purāṇic hearing and remembrance as spiritually efficacious, it supports bhakti-oriented practices like śravaṇa (hearing sacred narratives) and smaraṇa (recollection), which are central to Purāṇic devotion.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; it is primarily a catalog-style commendation (anukrama/summary) emphasizing the fruit of Purāṇa study.
