Narada (teaching within the Narada Purana’s instructional flow, commonly framed in dialogue with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It elevates śravaṇa (devout listening) and vācana/pāṭha (recitation) as direct means to siddhi, emphasizing that sincere devotion—centered on Nārāyaṇa or even Śiva—makes the hearing of Purāṇic wisdom spiritually fruitful.
It presents bhakti as an orientation of the heart (parāyaṇatā/rati) rather than mere ritual performance: a devotee who listens or teaches with devotion attains inner accomplishment, highlighting bhakti-supported śravaṇa as a practical sādhana.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is the discipline of śravaṇa and pāṭha—structured listening/recitation as a recognized Purāṇic practice for spiritual progress.
