Narada (hymn/praise as part of the narrative instruction)
Vrata: Śītalā-aṣṭamī (contextual)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents Śītalā as the complete cosmic caregiver—mother, father, and nurse—teaching that divine protection and nurture can be approached through single-pointed praise and surrender (namo namaḥ).
Bhakti here is expressed through direct address, repetition, and total attribution of all support to the deity—recognizing Śītalā as the source of care and offering continual salutations as a devotional practice.
Primarily chandas/poetic usage and mantra-style repetition: the refrain-like “śītale… śītale…” and “namo namaḥ” illustrates stotra composition and liturgical recitation rather than a technical Vedanga such as Jyotiṣa or Vyākaraṇa.
