Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links remembrance of the Saptarishis with proper ritual honor (arghya), teaching that reverence to realized seers supports dharma and sanctifies one’s worship.
By emphasizing respectful offerings to venerable sages, it reinforces bhakti’s culture of humility and honoring the guru–ṛṣi tradition that transmits Vishnu-centered sacred knowledge.
Ritual correctness (vidhivat) reflects Kalpa/Śrauta–Smārta procedure: preparing and offering arghya as a formal upacāra (honorific rite) in worship and ancestral/sage veneration contexts.
