The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
मृत्युकाष्ठानले मृत्युपत्रपुष्पफलैरपि । समिद्भिर्जुहुयात्सम्यग्वारे शार्चनपूर्वकम् ॥ १७३ ॥
mṛtyukāṣṭhānale mṛtyupatrapuṣpaphalairapi | samidbhirjuhuyātsamyagvāre śārcanapūrvakam || 173 ||
‘మృత్యు’ కాష్ఠంతో ప్రజ్వలించిన అగ్నిలో, ‘మృత్యు’ కర్మకు నియమితమైన ఆకులు, పుష్పాలు, ఫలాలు మరియు సమిధలతో విధివిధానంగా ఆహుతులు సమర్పించాలి. నియత దినంలో ముందుగా పూజ చేసి సక్రమంగా హోమం చేయాలి.
