ब्रह्मकर्म सविता प्रसवानामधिपतिः स मावतु । अस्मिन् ब्रह्मण्यस्मिन् कर्मण्यस्यां पुरोधायामस्यां प्रतिष्ठायामस्यां चित्त्यामस्यामाकूत्यामस्यामाशिष्यस्यां देवहूत्यां स्वाहा

IAST Transliteration

bráhma-karma savitā́ prasavā́nām ádhipatiḥ sá māvatu | asmín bráhmaṇy asmín kármaṇy asyā́ṃ purodhā́yām asyā́ṃ pratiṣṭhā́yām asyā́ṃ cittýām asyā́m ākū́tyām asyā́m āśíṣy asyā́ṃ devahū́tyāṃ svā́hā ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Savitar, lord of impulsions, of the brahman-work—may he aid me: in this brahman, in this act; in this fore-setting, in this establishment; in this intent, in this purpose; in this blessing, in this god-invocation—svāhā.

Translation

బ్రహ్మ-కర్మకు, ప్రేరణల (ప్రసవాల) అధిపతి సవితా—ఆయన నన్ను కాపాడుగాక. ఈ బ్రహ్మంలో, ఈ కర్మంలో; ఈ పురోధాయంలో (ముందు-స్థాపనలో), ఈ ప్రతిష్ఠలో; ఈ చిత్త్యంలో (నిశ్చయంలో), ఈ ఆకూత్యంలో (సంకల్పంలో); ఈ ఆశీర్వాదంలో, ఈ దేవహూత్యంలో (దేవ-ఆహ్వానంలో)—స్వాహా.
