शतं च मे सहस्रं चापवक्तार ओषधे । ऋतजात ऋतावरि मधु मे मधुला करः

IAST Transliteration

śatáṃ ca mé sahásraṃ cāpavaktā́ra oṣadhe | ṛtájāta ṛtā́vari mádhu me madhulā́ karáḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

A hundred for me, and a thousand—O Herb—(be thou) the repellers. Born of Ṛta, O Ṛta-covering one: make for me sweetness, make (all) honeyed.

Translation

నాకు వంద, నాకు వెయ్యి—ఓ ఓషధి—(నీవు) అపవక్తార (దోష-నివారిణి/దూరం చేయునది) అవు. ఋతజాతే, ఓ ఋతావరి: నాకు మధు (మాధుర్యం) చేయి; (అన్నిటినీ) మధుమయంగా చేయి.
