ये न॑ पि॒तुः पि॒तरो॑ ये पि॑ताम॒हा य आ॑विवि॒शुरु॒र्व॑१न्तरि॑क्षम्। य आ॑क्षि॒यन्ति॑ पृथि॒वीमु॒त द्यां तेभ्यः॑ पि॒तृभ्यो॒ नम॑सा विधेम

IAST Transliteration

yé naḥ pitúḥ pitáraḥ yé pitāmahā́ yá āvivíśur urvàṃ antárikṣam | yá ākṣíyanti pṛthivī́m utá dyā́m tébhyaḥ pitṛ́bhyo námāsā vidhéma

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The Fathers of our father, and the grandsires, who have entered the broad mid-air; who dwell on Earth and also in Heaven—to those Fathers with reverence would we render worshipful service.

Translation

మా తండ్రి యొక్క తండ్రులైన పితరులు, పితామహులు, విశాల అంతరిక్షంలో ప్రవేశించినవారు; భూమిలోను ద్యౌ (స్వర్గంలోను) నివసించువారు—ఆ పితృదేవతలకు మేము నమస్కారంతో విధిపూర్వక సేవా-పూజను అర్పిస్తాము.
