पक्षं द्रोणेन चाह्नां च दशभिर्द्रौणिना रणे । षड्भिः कर्णेन च तथा सदा ममभयंकृता
pakṣaṃ droṇena cāhnāṃ ca daśabhirdrauṇinā raṇe | ṣaḍbhiḥ karṇena ca tathā sadā mamabhayaṃkṛtā
‘துரோணர்—பதினைந்து நாளில்; த்ரௌணி (அஸ்வத்தாமன்)—போரில் பத்து நாளில்; மேலும் கர்ணன்—ஆறு நாளில்.’ இவ்வாறு அவர்கள் எப்போதும் எனக்குப் பயம் உண்டாக்கினர்.
