धर्मार्थकाममोक्षेषु प्रतिज्ञाय विशेषतः । इदं तदिति वाक्यांते प्रोच्यते स विनिर्णयः
dharmārthakāmamokṣeṣu pratijñāya viśeṣataḥ | idaṃ taditi vākyāṃte procyate sa vinirṇayaḥ
தர்மம், அர்த்தம், காமம் அல்லது மோக்ஷம் குறித்து சிறப்பு உறுதிமொழி செய்து, வாக்கியத்தின் முடிவில் ‘இதுவே அதுவாகும்’ என்று கூறும் தீர்மானமே வினிர்ணயம் ஆகும்।
