वह्न्युक्तं विन्यसेन्मंत्रमभिशस्तस्य मूर्धनि । त्रिःपरावर्तयेज्जिह्वा लिहन्नस्मात्षडंगुलम्
vahnyuktaṃ vinyasenmaṃtramabhiśastasya mūrdhani | triḥparāvartayejjihvā lihannasmātṣaḍaṃgulam
அக்னியுடன் தொடர்புடைய விதிக்கப்பட்ட மந்திரத்தை குற்றஞ்சாட்டப்பட்டவனின் தலைமேல் நிறுவ வேண்டும். பின்னர் அவன் நாவை மூன்று முறை பின்னே திருப்பி, இந்த (சூடான கருவி) யிலிருந்து ஆறு அங்குல அளவு நக்க வேண்டும்.
