Transliteration

āyasaṃ dvādaśapalaṃ ghaṭitaṃ phālamucyate | aṣṭāṃgulamadīrghaṃ ca caturaṃgulavistṛtam

Translation

இரும்பால் வடிக்கப்பட்ட பன்னிரண்டு பல எடையுடையதே கலப்பைமுனை (பால) எனப்படுகிறது. அது எட்டு அங்குல நீளமும் நான்கு அங்குல அகலமும் உடையதாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
