Transliteration

dānaveṃdrairnavāṃbhodasacchāyaiḥ sarvathotkaṭaiḥ | yathā hi puruṣaṃ ghorairabhāgyairarthakāṃkṣibhiḥ

Translation

புதிய மழைமேகம்போல் கருநிறச் சாயையுடன், எல்லாவிதத்திலும் கடுமையான தானவத் தலைவர்கள் இந்திரனை நெருக்கினர்; செல்வத்தை நாடும் கொடிய துரதிர்ஷ்டங்கள் மனிதனை எவ்வாறு தாக்குகின்றனவோ அவ்வாறே।
