Sukta 4
यदा प्राणो अभ्यवर्षीद् वर्षेण पृथिवीं महीम्। ओषधयः प्र जायन्तेऽथो याः काश्च वीरुधः
yadā́ prā́ṇo ’bhyávārṣīd várṣeṇa pṛthivī́ṃ mahī́m | óṣadhayaḥ prá jāyante ’thó yā́ḥ kā́ś ca vīrúdhaḥ ||
When Breath rained down upon the mighty Earth with rain, then spring forth the healing herbs, and also whatsoever plants there be.
பிராணன் மழையுடன் மகத்தான பூமியின் மீது மழையாகப் பொழிந்தபோது, ஓஷதிகள் முளைக்கின்றன; மேலும் எத்தகைய கொடிகள்/தாவரங்கள் உள்ளனவோ அவையும்.
