Sukta 4
आथर्वणीराङ्गिरसीर्दैवीर्मनुष्यजा उत। ओषधयः प्र जायन्ते यदा त्वं प्राण जिन्वसि
ātharvaṇī́r āṅgirasī́r daivī́r manuṣyajā́ utá | óṣadhayaḥ prá jāyante yadā́ tvaṃ prā́ṇa jínvasi ||
Atharvanic, Angirasic—divine, and also born among men—these healing herbs spring forth, when thou, O Breath, dost quicken them.
அதர்வணீய, ஆங்கிரஸீ—தெய்வீகமானவை, மேலும் மனிதர்களிடையே பிறந்தவையும்—இவ்வோஷதிகள், ஓ பிராணா! நீ அவற்றை உயிர்வலத்தால் ஊக்குவிக்கும்போது முளைத்து எழுகின்றன.
