निरि॒तो मृ॒त्युं निरृ॑तिं॒ निररा॑तिमजामसि । यो नो॒ द्वेष्टि॒ तम॑द्ध्यग्ने अक्रव्या॒द् यमु॑ द्वि॒ष्मस्तमु॑ ते॒ प्र सु॑वामसि
nír itó mṛtyúṁ nírṛtiṁ nír arā́tim ajāmasi | yó no dvéṣṭi tám áddhy agne ákravyād yám u dvíṣmas tám u té prá suvāmasi
From hence we drive away Death; we drive away Nirṛti; we drive away hostile ill. Whoso hateth us—him, O Agni, devour, thou that art no flesh-eater; and whom we in turn do hate, him verily to thee we send forth.
अतः स्मो मृत्युम् अप नयामः; निरृतिम् अप नयामः; निरारातिम् अप नयामः। यो नो द्वेष्टि तं, हे अग्ने, त्वम् अद्धि—अक्रव्याद् असि; यं च वयं द्विष्मः तम् अपि ते प्रेषयामः।
