यमबध्नाद् बृहस्पतिर्देवेभ्यो असुरक्षितिम्। स मायं मणिरागमत् तेजसा त्विष्या सह यशसा कीर्त्याऽ सह
yám abadhnā́d bṛ́haspátir devébhyo asúra-kṣitim | sá māyáṃ maṇír ā́gamat téjasā́ tvíṣyā sahá yáśasā kīrtyā́ sahá ||
Whom Bṛhaspati bound fast for the Gods—the Asura’s strong domain—thence came the Jewel, the Māyā, endowed with fiery might, with flashing splendour, with fame, with glory joined.
यं बृहस्पतिर् देवेभ्योऽबध्नाद् असुरक्षितिम्। स तस्मात् मणिर् माया आगमत्—तेजसा त्विष्या सह, यशसा कीर्त्या च सह।
