पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

सर्वांगोद्धूलनं कुर्यात्प्रणवेन शिवेन वा । ततस्त्रिपुण्ड्रं रचयेत्त्रियायुषसमाह्वयम्

Transliteration

sarvāṃgoddhūlanaṃ kuryātpraṇavena śivena vā | tatastripuṇḍraṃ racayettriyāyuṣasamāhvayam

Translation

Следует обмазать всё тело священным пеплом, произнося Пранаву (Ом) или имя Шивы. Затем надлежит начертать Трипундру — три линии пепла, призывая тройственную жизнь: прошлое, настоящее и будущее, дабы очистить их этим освящением.
