पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

Transliteration

vibhṛjyāṃgāni mūrdhādicaraṇāṃtāni taisspṛśet | tatastena krameṇaiva samuddhṛtya ca bhasmanā

Translation

Очистив члены тела от головы до стоп, следует коснуться их тем (очищающим веществом). Затем, в том же порядке, нужно брать и наносить священный пепел (бхасму), шаг за шагом.
