It underscores the Dharma principle that niṣiddha (prohibited) actions generate pāpa and manifest as tangible suffering—loss of support, poverty, grief, and illness—urging restraint and righteous conduct.
By warning against prohibited conduct, it indirectly supports Bhakti as a disciplined life aligned with Dharma; purity of conduct sustains steadiness of mind, which is essential for sustained devotion to Bhagavān.
It reflects Dharma-śāstra style discernment of niṣiddha vs. vihita actions (what is prohibited vs. enjoined); while not a direct Vedāṅga lesson, it aligns with practical ritual-ethics used to guide correct conduct.
