gato bahutaraḥ kālastatra me vasato mune | kṣudhitasya tṛṣārtasya śītatāpasahasya ca

Ó sábio, passou-se muitíssimo tempo enquanto ali permaneci: faminto, atormentado pela sede e suportando frio e calor.
