Para esses ritos, o homa deles é prescrito como um quarto — ou, no máximo, a metade — do que se realiza para o ācārya. Em seguida, somente no kundā principal, o preceptor eminente (deśika) deve oferecer as oblações.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Offering: naivedya
It emphasizes disciplined, proportionate ritual performed under a qualified guru, teaching that purification and grace arise through correct method (vidhi) aligned to Shiva’s order, not through excess display.
Homa here functions as an auxiliary act of Saguna Shiva worship, where offerings are made as a regulated service (seva) under the deśika, supporting inner surrender to Shiva as Pati while the devotee (pashu) is guided beyond bondage (pasha).
Perform the fire-offering in the main kuṇḍa under the guidance of the deśika, keeping the oblations limited to a quarter or half measure relative to the ācārya’s standard—prioritizing correctness, mantra-discipline, and steadiness of intention.
