yasmātteṣu vinikṣipya sahasrāṃśaṃ svatejasām | asmākaṃ dattavānrudro rakṣārthaṃ jagatāṃ śivaḥ

କାରଣ ଜଗତ୍‌ର ଶିବ ରୁଦ୍ର ନିଜ ତେଜର ସହସ୍ରାଂଶ ସେହି (ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡ଼ିକ) ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିକ୍ଷେପ କରି, ସୃଷ୍ଟିର ରକ୍ଷାର୍ଥେ ଆମକୁ ଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
