अयं कविरकविषु प्रचेता मर्तेष्वग्निरमृतो नि धायि । स मा नो अत्र जुहुरः सहस्वः सदा त्वे सुमनसः स्याम ॥

ayáṃ kavír ákaviṣu prá-cetā márteṣv agnír amṛ́to ní dhāyi | sá mā no átra juhuraḥ sahasvaḥ sádā tvé su-mánasaḥ syāma ||

ଏହି ଅଗ୍ନି ଅକବିମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କବି, ପ୍ରଚେତା—ଜାଗୃତ ଚେତନା; ମର୍ତ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅମୃତ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ହେ ସହସ୍ୱାନ୍ ଶୁଦ୍ଧିକର୍ତ୍ତା, ଏଠାରେ ଆମ ଭିତରେ ଯାହା ବାଙ୍କା ଅଛି ତାହାକୁ ଦହନ କରି ଦୂର କର; ଯେପରି ସଦା ତୁମ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମେ ସୁମନସ—ଶୁଭ ଓ ଜ୍ୟୋତିର୍ମୟ ମନବାନ—ହେବୁ।
