अश्वस्यात्र जनिमास्य च स्वर्द्रुहो रिषः सम्पृचः पाहि सूरीन् । आमासु पूर्षु परो अप्रमृष्यं नारातयो वि नशन्नानृतानि ॥

aśvasyā́tra jánimā́sya ca svàr-druháḥ ríṣaḥ sampṛ́caḥ pāhi sūrī́n | āmā́su pū́rṣu paró apramṛ́ṣyaṃ ná ārā́tayo ví naśannā́nṛtāni ||

ଅତ୍ର ଅଶ୍ୱସ୍ୟ ଜନିମା—ସେ ଦହନଶୀଳ ତେଜର ଜନ୍ମ—ଏଠାରେ ଅଛି। ସ୍ୱର୍ଦ୍ରୁହୋ ରିଷଃ—ପ୍ରକାଶକୁ ଦ୍ରୋହ କରୁଥିବା ଆଘାତ ଓ ବିକୃତି—ଯାହା ସୂରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଆଲୋକରେ ମିଶିବାକୁ ଚାହେ—ସେଠାରୁ ସୂରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର। ଆମାସୁ ପୂର୍ଷୁ—କାଚା, ଅପକ୍ୱ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତାମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟରେ—ତୁମେ ପରଃ ଅପ୍ରମୃଷ୍ୟଃ, ଅସ୍ପର୍ଶ୍ୟ ଓ ଅଜେୟ ରୁହ। ନାରାତୟୋ ବି ନଶନ୍ନ୍—ସନ୍ଦେହ-ବିଘ୍ନର ଶକ୍ତିମାନେ ନଶ୍ଟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ଏବଂ ଅନୃତାନି—ଅସତ୍ୟ—ଟିକି ନ ରହୁ।
