प्रत्यूषश्च प्रभासश्च अष्टौ ते वसवः स्मृताः । सौ हश्चेत्यश्विनौ ख्यातौ त्रयस्त्रिंशदिमे स्मृताः
pratyūṣaśca prabhāsaśca aṣṭau te vasavaḥ smṛtāḥ | sau haścetyaśvinau khyātau trayastriṃśadime smṛtāḥ
ပရတ္ယူရှ နှင့် ပရဘာသ—ဤတို့သည် ဝသုရှစ်ပါးဟု မှတ်သားကြသည်။ ‘ဆော’ နှင့် ‘ဟာ’ သည် အရှွင်နှစ်ပါးဟု ကျော်ကြားသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ဤတို့ကို သုံးဆယ့်သုံးပါးသော ဒေဝတားဟု မှတ်သားကြသည်။
