भकाराद्याः षकारांता अष्टौ हि वसवो मताः । ध्रुवो घोरश्च सोमश्च आपश्चैव नलोऽनिलः
bhakārādyāḥ ṣakārāṃtā aṣṭau hi vasavo matāḥ | dhruvo ghoraśca somaśca āpaścaiva nalo'nilaḥ
“ဘ” မှအစ၍ “ෂ” အဆုံးတိုင်အောင် ဝಸು ၈ ပါးဟု မှတ်ယူကြသည်။ ထိုဝಸುတို့မှာ ဓြုဝ၊ ဃောရ၊ ဆိုမ၊ အာပ၊ နလ နှင့် အနိလ တို့ဖြစ်သည်။
