एतदिच्छाम्यहं श्रोतुमाचक्षाथां ममाग्रतः । सतां साप्तपदी मैत्री तन्मे मैत्र्या प्रणोदितौ
etadicchāmyahaṃ śrotumācakṣāthāṃ mamāgrataḥ | satāṃ sāptapadī maitrī tanme maitryā praṇoditau
ဤအကြောင်းကို ငါကြားလိုသည်—ငါ့ရှေ့တွင် တိုက်ရိုက်ရှင်းလင်းစွာ ပြောကြားပါ။ သုတေသနသမာဓိရှိသူတို့အကြား ‘ခြေလှမ်းခုနစ်’ ဖြင့် မိတ်သဟာယသည် တည်မြဲ၏; ထို့ကြောင့် မိတ်သဟာယ၏ လှုံ့ဆော်မှုဖြင့် ငါ့အား ပြောပါ။
